Notes/Warnings: In this fic Snape and Lily have never been friends, so I suppose it's not exactly canon-compliant. I love writing school-aged Snape and this fic explores the beginnings of one of the most influential and destructve elements of Snape's childhood: his rivalry with Sirius Black.
